Wassup all, i live in ireland as you can see in my account info so the most caught fish from casting ashore is a mackerel ect...
i know fish like the mackerel would eat smaller shoals of fish what fish in my sig would have a high risk of gettin ate.

would the mackerel ect... be able to live in such conditions as a tropical tank

i would like to experiment on mackerel and see if they bond, what will they eat so on!!

Will i hit or miss this idea :good:

i guess theoretically you could set up an aquarum for mackerel but it would obvioiusly need to be salt water and also VERY big .

they would need a huge tank because they are some of the fastst fish, as well a salt water

well yeahs the tank:

240 ltr rio
Ph 6.9-7.1
clean
hiding places if he can fit in em

if i catch a about 15 cm - 20cm will i just take em home or not?!

when we say big tank youre talking HUUUUGE like public aquarium size . also a mackerel is a saltwater fish COLD saltwater at that. it would soon die if you tried to put it in your tropical tank.
