Lockjaw

i was just looking at all my baby imbellis who got their labyrinths today or yesterday and one yesterday and another today is swimming around with their mouths wide open. the others are also breathing rather heavily and i dont know why. ph is normal ammonia is 0 temperature is about 74 tank is tightly sealed and there is condensation on the lid.
Any one know of what i can do to help them?

One of my spawn had a dislocated jaw from trying to fit a cory egg in its mouth which was far too big for it

She had to be put to sleep a few weeks later as her open mouth turned into a slit and she couldn't take food in or get air properly

I had a reply from Cation when I asked about her which seemed to suggest that it is not unheard of to have some in a spawn. I have no idea what could have caused your guys to get it, maybe genetics

ive had that happen to alot when they try to eat things to big for there mouths there ist anything you can do some times if your lucky it will close but very unlikely. you cant realy sell them like that so you will have to keep them or send them to heaven but i couldnt kill any of mine so i keep them
