Loaches Stirring Up Substrate

Do you clown loaches stir up the substrate from their fast swimming?

I know my loach sometimes trys to dig, but he fails because it's gravel.

mine will cause a cloud of sand to rise if theyre startled and take off quickly, but it hasnt caused any problems yet. other than that just their swimming doesn't effect the sand. do you have a powerhead or any powerful current in the tank? the current settles the sand nicely, reducing kick up.
