Tank size: 20gal
pH: ~7.6
ammonia: 0ppm
nitrite: 0ppm
nitrate: low
kH: ?
gH: ?
tank temp: 74 F
Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
My black Khuli loach (pangio javanicius [sp?]) has a bump about 4 mm long and 2mm wide on his bottom right side shortly after the front fins, it is the same color as the surronding skin but there are 2 red spots in the middle of it. He's just as active as the other loaches and it dosn't seem to be bothering him but I don't think it's normal.
Volume and Frequency of water changes:
approximately 25-50% each week, I was doing a water change when I noticed the problem.
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:
the usually stress coat and I added melafix because someone had niped off a piece of my oto's back fin
Tank inhabitants:
4 black khuli loaches, 4 male guppys, 1 otocinclus, 1-2 amano shrimp, 1 African dwarf frog
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):
The loach in question was added about a week ago along with a guppy and 2 dwarf frogs(one of which passed away shortly after
)
Exposure to chemicals:
nothing I know of besides stress coat and melafix.
He's currently in a bucket with a tiny java fern and some mature media.
