Livebearers!

Are there any livebearers that will go good with tiger barbs?

Tiger barbs are naturally fin-nippers. I guess maybe a sword tail or a platy could be ok with them. But I am not 100% sure. Guppies deffinetly not because they have large fins.

Swords can. but i would stay away from guppies and mollies tend to stress easy so unless you have a large tank with lots of plants and places to hide mollies may not be a great choice either (at least not the black Molly). HTH

Hi,
I'm no expert but I tried tiger barbs with platties, guppies & danios.
They nipped at everyone and I ended up taking them back to the lfs out of frustration.
I think they need to be kept with other barbs. Others might give you additional help ... this is just my experience.
