Livebearers For A 5 Gallon Octagon Tank?

As of now I only have a blue mickey mouse platy...Im waiting till next week since I get more money then and will be getting live plants....I really like guppys alot...and then again thought about just getting another female platy (the one I have now is a female..) and a male and just leaving it at that..Thanks everyone!

If you've got two females and a male platy, you're going to end up with tons of fry in a small tank! You might be better off getting a few male guppies or endlers. I've got three females and one male and about 60 fry in two smaller tanks - I finally stopped rescuing the fry from my main tank b/c I don't have room for any more. Good luck!

i think i just read your post on the begginers section, and i agree with the person there, i'd advise waiting a little longer before getting anymore fish...you really dont want to wake up to find some dead fish in your tank...not pleasant
