My Live Sand is changing from a whitish brown to a darker redish brown color. what is this? What do I do to change it?

yeh it will go on your powerhead too. my snail blitzed that away though.

c.u.c = clean up crew so hermits and snails should be the first of the clean up crew to go in ... urchins, starfish and shrimps will have to wait for the tank to mature a bit more though.

Thank You for your Assistance. I have 3 Cleaner Hermits in there. Should I have more than that?

how bigs the tannk?

what you really want is a mixture of snails, i need to top mind up i got annoying ones that fall on there back n then just die pah!!

yeh get more hermits scarlett are meant to be most reef safe.

and lots of assorted snails will control the algae on powerheads, tank sides etc and sand. you can have a fair few since they dont affect the bio load vastly.
