Hello,
I was just wondering if there are any plants that can be put in a bettas tank that bloom pretty flowers? And be safe for them.? And if not what types of live plants are safe and where can i buy them?

Thanks to any one who can help.

In general aquatic plants are leafy with a rare flower thrown in there occasionally. I have only one plant that flowers, an aponogeton, which has grown 2 stems in the time I've had it and these stems have produced a weird flower like appendage. The flowers grow to be above water level. One grew very long and I cut it down, and there is another stem that has just reached the surface and is beginning to bloom.

I do not believe you can find a plant that has an underwater blooming flower.

Ok thank you for letting me know. I am new to all this and I am still learning the ropes

Cryptocorynes bloom underwater as do anubias. Anubias are easy to grow as well. The flowers of amazon swords can resemble orchids, but most amazons get too large for your average betta tank. The anubia is more compact.

I think there's one called bacopa too that flowers underwater.
