I try not to feed my livebearers frozen or live more than twice a week.
I'm not a big fan of brine shrimp, unless it's frozen Hikari because their's is fortified with vitamins.
I feed mine frozen Hikari bloodworms, frozen Hikari Daphnia, and live blackworms.
For the frozen, I break off a small piece and put it in a glass of tank water to thaw.
I then feed it to them with a medicine dropper. I find it much easier to regulate the amount of food with a dropper. If you have a choice between individual cubes or the "flat-pack", go for the "flat-pack". I've noticed the worms are bigger, and you might not want to feed a whole cube.
For the live blackworms, I empty the bag in a 1g container, and pour cold de-chlorinated water in. I then empty the water out, and add more till it runs clear.
I also use the medicine dropper to feed these.
I probably would end up feeding them frozen Hikari only, but they are in tanks with other fish, so they get the live also, and they love it.
