Live Food

hey guys, i have an oscar and 3 green terrors. i was thinking about feeding them a couple of guppies on occasion and was wondering if it is a good idea or not. basically im looking for some pros and cons of live food. i also would probably keep the feeders in a seperate tank for about a week or so before i fed them to my fish.

i would avoid feeder fish, you never know what they could be carrying, and is pretty cruel, dont you think?

why not try live river shrimpm, my oscar loves them, or try frozen fish like smelts, my oscar also loves them

yea feeder guppies are empty calories not to mention u risk disease with them. i feed my cichlids live ghost shrimp they are cheap at least in my area like 1.50 for a dozen
