At around 78oF it's usualy ever 28-32 days

if u can see a gravid spot (near the bum) u can some time see little eye's looking out, they get these from around 10-12 days to go.

When their close the female may become antisocerial.

Well, with guppys you can tell when they face away from you the area around their gravid spot squares off. Also, helterskelter, my female guppy, which has never had contact with a male except when she was born, has a very vivid gravid spot, so FYI, your comment doesnt always hold true. Peterk, try having a search around google, there are some good websites out there with good info on this.

they also lift there tail up or have trouble swiming when there near of having babys .
