Little White Organisms - Are They Parasites?

I've just noticed tiny white organisms bodding about one of my tanks. Could this be something that may lead to a disease? Should I get rid of them straight away, and if so, how, please?

could be micro worm. i dont think theres any cause for concern if thats what they are as bettas eat them.

They're like little white fleas more than worms. Fish don't seem bothered up to now but am keeping a close eye on them.
