Sorry to open a couple of threads on here but what does this suggest?
I have poorly fish in the tank (I suspect poisoning of the water) Fish are dying, 1 just died and all was intact, some melt away and quickly! I noticed the problem earlier today 10am. I made a water change but things have not changed. I put the correct dosage of myaxin and Pimarfix in the tank for columnaris (which cleared) and have been treating for a couple of days.
Sorry to the point.... I had some poorly looking fish so put them into a breeding trap to keep them away from the other fish, within 15 minutes of being in the trap. They died. This trap held fish with livebearer babies just a couple of days ago and only left the tank this morning to be boiled. I have about 50 livebearers in my 5ft tank and all look unwell or not happy.
Can anyone direct me to a problem I have caused or if, when a tank is poluted, it's not a good idea to confine their space.
