Little One Is Bullied :(

i have had platys in my tank for about a month and the smallest one (my favourite) is getting bulied by the male getting chased around the tank and she just sits under a plant or an oranmment.

what can i do to stop it, he doesnt bully or chase the other 2 females.

Did he just start this recently? If so, it could be that she is about to drop fry. When a female is about to drop, the male will follow her around relentlessly waiting for the little 'snacks' to pop out so that he can eat them and so that he gets first dibs on mating when she's finished. If this is the case, you should really separate her (a breeding net will work) so that she doesn't get too stressed out and die.

no he has been like this for the past 2 weeks, once he cant see her he just hovers around the other females, the one bullied is smaller than him could the size be why?

It could just be that she is smaller so she is an easier target. You said that she is smaller, are you sure that it is a "she"?
