Ok i have a ten gal tank with 1 female guppy who is pregnant and a small guppy female1 month old and today I came downstairs to check on them and i found hundreds of like larva like worms in the tank that are 2cm long and paper thin, they are a little pink too. My female guppy seems to be eatting them.

Ok the tank light has been on for about 5min and most of the worms have gone into hiding it seems

The worms on the glass or in the gravel?

Any way for you to get a picture of them?

Sounds like planaria to me, which is relatively harmless, though would potentially mean that your water quality/ feeding regimen is not up to par. If it's something else, then I don't know what it is.

Ok now how do i get rid of them and they went into the rocks after i turned the light on, and if it helps at all they move in a cork screw way when they swim.

Ok i went to Petsmart and got some medicine called Mardel they said that it should take care of it, they seem to be agitated because the light is on and they are not hiding anymore, now they are swimming around the tank.

if they move like a worm kinda does but on the tank glass, swim and the kinda "double up on themselves" but are usually off white in color - seems as though it is planaria

THOROUGHLY gravel vac every 2 days and dont feed the fish for 3 days (they can go longer and sometimes is good to let them have a fast).....as in the wild this will happen when there is no food available

if you manage to split them in half DONT!!!!!!!!!!! they re-grow their bits that they are missing so effectively..........

1 cut = 2
