Hi ive had my small tank up and running for 2 days and i have put flake food in twice for cycling it i also put some gravel from another tank in not alot tho just done the tests on it and readings are ph 7.6. Ammonia 0.50. Nitrite. 0. Nitrate 0. I am a beginner and just wondering if this is ok and what should i do next

Are you doing a fishless cycle?

If you are, then you want to add some more fish food, or preferably some household ammonia if you can, as it's easier to accuratly dose.

Then you just need to wait for a the ammonia to start dropping and the nitrites to go up.

If you have fishyin, immediate water change!

also a little note if your using the API master test kit make sure to over shake the bottles especially for Nitrate and bottle Number 2 :) can give false readings like i did if you don't shake allot :D

I added a prawn instead but mt reqdings are still the same i added it lastnight how long should it take its only a small 25 litre

It'll take a few days for the prawn to start producing any ammonia.

I'd really strongly recommend you get some household ammonia if you can, it's much easier.

The size of the tank makes no difference, and all fishless cycles run slightly differently, but you're probably looking at a month/six weeks.
