yeh the 2 white ones are albino cories *whispers* thinking about geting more cories was sooooooooooooo tempted today but came home with some neons instead
erm i dont know the name of the plant they were labeled 5 for £1 so i said ill have 5 the lady appologised as she was moving plants around at the time that that wasnt the actual name and those were actually 3 for a £1
the tanks a clear seal 24x15x12 giving 14.81 gallons, i plan to upgrade to the 30 gallon version before the fish reach maturity so im not buying things like hood and background for this tank at the moment, currently using a table lamp with an energy effeciant 10watt bulb.....the pictures were actually taken with a standard 100watt bulb to give more light but full time that uses too much electricity and puts out unwanted heat.
suprisingly the male betta gets on with everyone,
corry feeding time
betta not wanting his photo taken
albino corys tucking in
neons on the prowl for food
ooh quick question does anyone else use an elite heater, i bought my 50watt one for a smaller tank but it compes well in the 15gallon at first i thought it was the type thats not fully submersible but i noticed my best lfs uses elite heaters in most of there tanks and they have them fully submerged so now mine is
oops neons dont like extreme light levels had a 100watt bulb in for a few hours came backe later and they'd all gone pale quickly turned the light off and next morning there back to normal
