Just wondered if anyone had any helpful hints as to keeping these gorgeous fish. I'm planning on having a small group in my 2ft, possibly 4 or so, and maybe some sparklers too. I know they can be sensitive especially when first imported, which is why I've made sure to keep an eye on the lot in the lfs who have been there for at least three weeks with only a couple of deaths (as expected with any fish). I would assume they would appreciate a lot of plant life, what about tannins (the smarags will appreciate them)?

I didn't go for liquorice today, £8.95 each was a bit rich for my blood :S So I went with some sparklers. Might get some croaking as well later.

Liquorice are gorgeous little fellows. So much character, but delicate.
Who is selling them at such an extortionate price.

Last time I saw them at Maidenhead they were 5 for 8GBP.
