Liquid Plant Fertilizer

I bought some plant fertilizer and it says i must add i capfull of it to every 10 gallons, thats 3 capfulls for me. but it failed to mention how often i add these... every how many days? i have asked this before and i was told that every water change should be enough, but then i read here that it is every week. can somebody clarify my doubts please?

What I do is to dose the replacement water with the appropriate amount when I do a water change. I figure that the actual concentration in the tank is probably a bit on the low side, since it is being taken up by the plants. I'll add it bit more than the directions every so often to account for this though. This has worked well for me for a couple years now.

i do 2 water changes a week, one very small one just to hoover the poo off the sand and another large one, when i do the large change i add my liquid fert to the total volume of the tank

Probably best to add it weekly
