I went out today to pick up a few more plants to replace the aluminum plant I took out. And picked up a bottle of API Leaf zone liquid fertilizer. My question is, it says add 5ml per 10 gallons once a week. I Have a 20 gallon (so 10ml a week). But since I have a carbon filter, should I do two 5ml treatments per week instead? Any thoughts would be great.

Just take the carbon out of the filter. It adsorbs things like fertiliser until it's full (after a few days to a week at most if I remember correctly), and then it's useless anyway. Just use easy to clean sponge or filter wool in the filter.

Carbon isnt needed unless you are trying to remove medications :good:.
