ok, i was wondering
my filter has carbon in it. Now I know that carbon gets rid of medications, but does it also get rid of liquid fertilzer?
any help would be great :good:
thank you

Carbon can be used in a filter on initial set up when fertilisers are not 100% necessary as it takes a little time for plants to get acclimatised to there new water conditions, and most cardon filter media will become ineffective after a few weeks and will turn to a biological filter medium safe for the use of fertilisers. Carbon media may not remove trace elements any way.
