Lionfish

I am getting a Lionfish and I was wondering about the types of fish and things that I can have in the tank.
I know that I have to get rid of the small fish i currently have in the tank.
I also have boxing crabs, hermit crabs, a starfish and a decorator crab.
I do not care if the lionfish eats the hermit crabs. The boxing crabs hide in little cracks in my live rock so i think they'd be safe.
Do i need to get rid of the decorator crab? I want to keep the starfish if possible - its about medium to large size.
I have a tennent tang as well - do you think if i got a lionfish that having both of those together would be too much for a 60 gallon tank?
The tang is about 5" long.

If you are getting a volitans lion (the most common one offered) then that alone will get too big for the tank.

I was referring to a Dwarf Lionfish - sorry - should have been more specific!

Again you was less specific

Dendrochirus Brachypterus - Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish
Dendrochirus Zebra - Zebra Lionfish
Dendrochirus Biocellatus - Fu Manchu Lionfish

Each are a beautiful specie with different needs, appearance and
amazing qualities

And Sizes.

What size tank are you looking to keep them in?
(gallons is preferd)
and if there are any tank mates.
What are they

Edit: Ive justs seen its a 60 gall,
thats fine for dwarf species.
The rest of your info depends on specie.
Crab wise anyways.

Sorry, I was referring to the Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish.
Yes, it is a 60 gallon tank.
The tank mates i have are the following:
- 4 1/2" long tennent tang (so pretty large)
- clownfish
- Pygmy Dwarf Angelfish
- Bahama starfish
- many hermit crabs
- boxing crabs (always hidden in live rock)
- a quite large decorator crab
-about 60ish lbs of liverock
I was planning on getting rid of the clownfish and angelfish, if need be, as I know it would most likely get too crowded
BUT, my biggest concern was if i needed to get rid of my tennent tang - he has such a personality.
I am worried that he would get stung due to the size of my tank and since he is quite active i dont want him to run into the lionfish.
What is your opinion on the compatibility of the tank mates with a fuzzy dwarf lionfish?
I want the best living situations for my fish and crustaceans so please let me know!

You shouldnt really worry about being stung,
My Fuzzy Dwarf lives in a 30 gall, and ive never once been stung.
He just always thinks im feeding him though .

When he was at my LFS, he seem'd to eat the clean up crew he was in with ,
The tang could end up hurting himself if its a little too boysterous.

How big are your clowns?
Fuzzy Dwarfs usually get about 4 inches, so if they're small enough to be consider'd food.

With me tankmates for a Fuzzy Dward consists of
Fish that are too big to be eaten, and stay out of there way

Just to let you know, they're greedy things.
Have fun weaning him onto frozen foods too
