we have just set up 105 gallon FOWL with loads of live rock, we want to have lion fish but are finding tank mates hard to come by,thinking of having powder blue or brown tang with the lion fish any help with tank mates would be very welcome

With a big tank you'll want othe rlarger peaceful fish. Tangs are a great choice, and larger psuedoanthias might also be a good decision. If its gonna be fish only you could consider fullsize angels and perhaps even some dwarf angels (provided you purchase them at near adult size). A foxface would do well there, but dont mix foxfaces with yellow tangs (they fight). Some people say you can mix lions with puffers, but I dont perscribe to that way of thinking (I think puffers should be species only)

thanks for that, we had come to the same conclusion ref the puffers, but all compatability charts we have found contradict each other so thanks for that time to do some more investigating.

so here is our new revised stock list, please advise to confirm all compatible

1x lion fish
1x sohal tang
1x foxface
1x emporer angel fish
2x pseudantias tuka
1x black urchin
18x turbo snails

tell us what you think and who would you advise to add first

Great call on the urchin and turbos to keep algae down :D

Stocking sounds good to me I'd add the foxface, then the pseudoanthias, then the angel, then lion, and bring up the rear with the tang :)
