Nothing bothers me more then seeing lint or cat hair floating at the surface in my aquarium, Is there some sort of trick to getting it out of the tank? I try to scoop them out with a net but I was wondering if there was a smarter way. My fish are curious and nippy and always rushing the net and my fingers.

Probably a magnetic glass cleaner will remove it, or some kitchen paper floated on top of the tank, just curious how do the cat hairs get in the tank.

Not quite sure I think they fall off my clothes into the bucket when I do water changes, or maybe they are floating in the air...It's not like tufts of hair or anything, I just see 2 or three stray hairs sometimes.
