These little guys are starting to get annoying. I have been squishing ever one of them i see for about a month but their numbers are climbing. I squished 20 or so on the front glass tonight and can see dozens of babies. I have cherry shrimp and dwarf crays so any type of chemical treatment is out of the question.

What can i do to get rid of them or atleast lower the numbers?

Well are you sure they are limpets in the first place? Limpets acutally help out to clean the tank but I guess they can become unsightly if there are alot. I don't know too much about limpets but maybe they are like planaria? Planaria are like earthworms, able to survive if cut into pieces. This is just a guess though.

Instead of crushing them and leaving the remains in the water, try to pull them all out of the tank.

Yes they are without a doubt limpets. I also have a few endlers in the tank and they took care of them once squished.
