Limit The Agrression

i have 2 convicts and 1 GT and when the convicts have fry the GT gets beat up. I don't have another tank to put either fish in and I want to keep all of them. Should I add another cichlid so 1 fish wont recieve all the pain. --- i have a 50 gallon (long) tankwith a bunch of hiding places

Definitely don't add more fish. Put a divider in there. That's probably the safest thing to do if you don't want to get rid of any of the fish.
