I managed to pick up four pots at the LFS and as I have just started injecting CO2 thought I may have a go at creating a carpet. I have separated and planted as individual plantlets but thought I might ask if anyone has had much luck with this before?

Thanks James

It can be used as a carpeting plant but it is a very slow grower and can be a tad fickle.

I thought that might be the case!! I seem to have achieved a good CO2 level but my lighting isnt great for the size of the tank 48x28x20, 120W. Standard lighting with the Rena tank!! I havent found a reasonably cheap way to upgrade it yet unfortunately. The lids of the rena tanks are great for doing maintenance but adding lighting im unsure what to do yet!! I may add some hair grass or something to thicken it out a bit more and hope if fills in reasonable quickly!? It looks ok at the moment but id love to create a nice carpet! Something to be proud of!! :D :D
