Does any one know where I can mail order this plant from in the UK? I have seen one or two tanks on this site with a grass like foreground and suspect they may be this plant (can`t remember where I found out the name from). I am only really aware of Greenline and Java on the internet.

Thanks George. I have been on that site many times without realising they sold plants. I always associated them with hardware.

I have got my Brazilian micro sword from Aqua Essentials, very good quality ship very well and spread very fast.

Hi Dave.

Please bare in mind that this plant is not the easiest plant to grow.It need Loads of light and C02 from my personal experience.

If you have the right condisions for this plant then buy it it is very pretty and grows well if condisions are met.

As an alternative to having a grassy for ground you can try Tennelus.Pygmy Chain Swords.

Yes, d3ained you are right, it need high light and CO2. I have got some as well in small tank with low light and no CO2 and it’s doing no thing.
But for me the Tennelus is more a midground plant. Check the picture, the Brasilian is in the front and the Tennelus behind, it is 20cm tall.
