Like Whitespot But Not :s

2 of my female endlers have white spots on their tails all of a sudden. They are not like grains of salt like whitespot, they are not raised at all and they are bigger than whitespot spots. I have removed them from the main tank and quarantined, and treated for whitespot as its the only thing I could think of... anyone have any idea what it could be?

Do the white spots have any redness to them.
Do the spots look like a cluster of eggs or a cauliflower.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing or laboured breathing.

It could be bacterial.
Just keep an eye on them.
I wouldn't of added a med if you thinks its not whitespot.

I will do a big water change to remove the beds. Added them late last night in a panic!
