Hi,

I order 2 x Interpet Daylight 25w tubes online and instead of Interpet, I had 2 x Hagan Glow Light 2 6700k's delivered

Which is the best tube?

Cheers....

IMO the Interpet daylights by a mile. Never liked Hagen tubes and always thought they had a poor light output, but that's just me.

I really like the Interpet Daylights so Id go for them. Alot of people like them more.

Thanks for the feedback. Despite all the good advice here I have fitted the tubes...

Why you may ask?

Well, as I could not find much info about them, thought I would give a end user account of how they perform in a couple of months B)

Hagen AquaGlo and Sunglo were the default tubes and still are in the Fluval Duo Series tank. They were rank so I replaced them with Arcadia Original Tropical and Arcadia Freshwater.

WOW - what a difference, and I am told that Interpet Triplus and Daylight Plus are even better, so..............

..........theres the answer

Interpet 9/10
Arcadia 7/10
Hagen 3/10 - honestly thats how they compared to the Arcadia

I am getting Interpet next time, because the reviews are good and have read a lot of them. boring boring me

Hagen Life-Glo 2 are good tubes. They're the best Hagen tube IME, but the most expensive.

The Interpet Daylight Plus is better for green rendition and appears brighter.

George, what about plant growth?

Oh and effectively they will be free....

Sorry didnt read the glow 2

The bulbs in Fluval Duos are just AquaGlo and SunGlo, so must be different. here endeth my humble pie eating

:good:

Oh forgot to say, I think the tubes produce a really good color although I may be bias as I had the standard Juwel tube and the Juwel Warmlight thing which made everything look anaemic....
