I have brought this forward to this page in the hope that somone can help.
I have bought a juwel 190lt corner tank, having previously had a 150lt one.
I dont like the lights supplied with the new tank, the front one is called 'Soft White' and gives the tank a very yellow look, and the back one is white but not bright enough.....
I tried putting the ligkts back in from my other tank...they are a Interpet daylight plus and a beauty Light. These lights looked fantastic in the 150lt tank, but look awful in the 190lt tank. The 190lt tank is about 6 inches deeper, and this is where i am having the problem......please can anyone advise me what lights to buy that will give a good strong light for my new deeper tank??? I need a Bright white for the back and a bright pinkish color for the front to bring out the colors of my fish...........Any advise will be very welcome...thank you in advance :)
ps: I do have the juwel reflectors fitted.

Well there's a pinned link to a sight with calculators to work out how many watts per gallon you need depending on the depth of your tank etc. Is it just because you want the fish to stand out or are you going to have live plants as well? You might want to ask in the plants or hardware section of the forum for more specific information. I'm not very good with lighting and plants myself :p.

I have a lot of plants in my tank Sylvia, so I need the tank to provide good light for them as well as making my fish stand out....
