well i have just found lightning dead. he was the one that flaired at doorknobs stared at toasters and coffee makers and loved people.he died of dropsy around 10pm-5am. good bye lightning

yup he was my baby ..i wish he was still alive doing his butt wigglie and flare dance im going to miss that alot.i always rember my mom saying "Lightning you do not need my coffee!" he was a nutty little guy .i wish i would go to petsmart and get another lightning but lightning was with us for only 6 months and i had one before from there for only one week. no more petsmart bettas for me. now i only have one male (haha he has 2 girls around him what a pimp)i have had best luck w/ petco. if i ever get another betta it will be a black one from petco (i missed one it was a green/blacklace buterfly veiltail i almost bought it) but i think il stick w/ 2 girls and flamey.

i just cant belive it i have already lost 2 fish this year.this sucks . i miss him so much now i alwasy rember how he loved it when i would say "lightning lightning" and would put my finger on the plastic and "pet " him,he just loved that so much.it deeply saddens me to lose him when school is stressing ,my dog is sick and i feel sick i just really didnt need this .

That's so sad. If it was dropsy, though, there's really nothing you could have done to help the poor little guy.
