Lightning For 8 Uk Gal About 38 Litters

Hello,
I have about 8 UK gal tanks which is 38 litters and from the pictures below please have a look and maybe suggest if i need more light as i have 11 wats built in hood light plus for the moment use 50 watts clip on light (not sure if its helping at all)

This Friday i should get 30 watts flurecent tube to be built in in my tank and replace that 11 watts as i cant buy a higher watts for that hood with 2 pin tube. 30 more plants are aboutto arrive some of them will be a high light demanders. Like for example from the pic below i have just recently planted a Hemianthus Callitrichoides (Cuba) to grow as a carpet.

So will i need higher Watts and how many would be good cince i have CO2 in my tank for plants to quickly grow and finaly make that carpet?

By the way what fish is that one i have in pic one from above looks like a barb brown with 2 stripes down ?

36w will be ok, does the 2 plants on the right hae white edges? if so they are not aquatic.

They actually do have white lines on the sides and strappy whitish green light and dark green, are u sure coz i thought so too that they look abit odd lol

get some vallis, it is the same but no white.

if i get more then 36W light like 50W or 60W will it affect the tank to bed or good side?

50w is to much IMO, the 36w will be plenty or 40w will do.

Damn me i just ruined my hood by installing a normal 60 Watts light non flurecent and it looked so orange (light) before it blew up lol, so i have just ordered a new hood from ebay for 22 pounds with most i can get is 24 watts one blue and 2 white flurecent T5.. big mistake ive done but hope 24 watts will be enough in compare to my previous 11 watts
