Hi so I run my lighting 11 hours per day because of my planted tank and set my heater at ~77 degrees. Thing is I think my light is heating my water up to over 82 degrees and IDK what to do if I should not use the heater at all and let the light heat the tank? But then the temp will drop to about 70 degrees at night which would stress out the fish.
What should I do, is there a problem with my heater and should the light contribute so much to the water temp? Should I get a new bulb? Atm its a 15 W all purpose bulb.
