Lighting

Hello,

Went to pets at home today for 15w 24" T8 tube for my 10G Not looking for anything special in lighting for example to enhance my plants or show the colours in fish bettter.

They wanted £11.99 for the tube so I went to my local supplier and he charged £1.00 for a standard T8 tube will this cause any problems for the fish or will theses tubes be okay to use

Those lights wont hurt your fish, but they will probably only contribute to algae. You have to get either a 6700k or a full spectrum bulb i believe.
