Lighting?

Can i turn on my 2 lights on. I mean the white one and the pink at the same time? My pleco turned white does it mean that he is stressful? Now he is normal but what this thing happened he was white. lol NOw normally. My last question is how can i make my pellets sink to the bottom of the tank coz my sharks stay in the bottom and not getting enough food.?

Answer to one of your questions, is to soak the pellets in a bowl with some tank water, I had the same problem with all my mid and top feeders getting to my dried bloodworm, and the clown loaches never got a look in.... Now everyone gets an even share
