Hi,
I currently use a Sun Glo 18" 15W fluorescent bulb.
The Vallis and Ricca Fluitans in my tank are flourishing but my Amazon Sword leaves are decomposing around the edges.
Would the Amazon sword benefit from different/more powerful lighting?
Is a Sun Glo fluorescent bulb optimum for lighting my tank so that everything looks at it's best?
I currently have 1.5wpg. I don't think that I can increase this as I only have one light fixture and I believe (please correct me if Im wrong which I'm sure you will
) that the wattage of a fluorescent bulb is governed by it's length.
What is the "K" value of a fluorescent bulb?
I've noticed that same wattage bulbs have different K values. Is it to do with the spectrum of light that they produce?
