Tank size 6feet by 2 feet high by 18 inches wide (125 gallon)

lighting 4x's 40 watts aqua-glo (18,000 k )

I know thats just over 1 wpg so I'm not sure if thats enough for the plants i have (java fern, wysteria and a grassy looking one<-pretty sure thats the technical term for it to )

Your light tubes are not suitable for growing plants, 18,000k tubes are really only suited to reef tanks, they are very much in the blue spectrum whereas light tubes for plants need to be full spectrum ideally around 6500k, if you continue to use them you will probably have algae problems, with the amount of light you have you should have no problem growing certain plants if you use the correct tubes, i dont know about the grassy one either but the Java fern and Wysteria should do fine with the amount of light you have available.
