Lighting Problem

Hi, does anyone here own an Elite fish tank, the lighting unit went last night, I have 4 bulbs and none of them will work in it, down side is the starter is built into hood. Any else had this problem and if so how did they get round it ?
Any feedback greatly appreciated

What tank is it?

Usually, the lighting unit will have a removeable starter unit, and it should simply be a matter of unclipping the old one, and buying a new starter.

The are usually only a few pence each! (at least the last time i bought some for a household light, that was the case!)

It's an Elite 95ltr, I think they are made by Hagen, all the electrics are built into the hood and sealed....
Anyone any ideas?

Can you take some pictures of the hood?

I seem to remember this kind of tank has a small compartment you can remove to access the guts of the light, and replace the starter?
