Hi everyone, Is there enough lighting on the PFK's Acuacube to grow glossostigma elatinoides?
I've heard it needs strong lighting to grow well. What kind of lighting units would be good to upgrade it?

Thanks,

Mike :)

Good question. I've been meaning to ask also, maybe one of our gurus will drop by and share their wisdom :)
I believe 2 wpg is classed as low lighting on a tank this small, not sure what level would be needed for Glosso.
On the same topic I haven't seen much in the way of lighting other than arc pods? Lighting suggestions would be very helpful.

With just the one 11W light you wont be able to grow glosso IMO.
Adding another 11W will enable you to.
Look on ebay and you'll find some clip on lights that are 11W. The make is Boyu. Ive bought one and it does one hell of a difference for my pfk cube.

P.S. the wpg rule doesnt apply to small tanks and very large ones :good:

Thanks RadaR, I wasnt quite sure how much lighting they need but now I know. :D

Ive heard that the arc-pod dosent fit on the nano without the glass having to be cut...

Really? Maybe I'll have to reconsider then. :/

I recently tried an Arcpod on my nano and it does fit, although you can't fit the glass cover on.
