Alright, so after posting on this site about the plants in my tank not reacting well to being in it, I found out that my lighting was insufficient and that I would need to add Wattage to my lighting arrangement. To fix this I purchased a fluorescent fixture from my local Home Depot and now I'm at a loss for my next step... I know I need to wire it in, but the fixture says that it is rated for a 14 watt bulb, there are two slots for bulbs to be placed in, and I have found bulbs online that claim a wattage of 39 watts, will these bulbs work in the fixture that I have purchased or will I need to make yet another adjustment?
