I have a Juwel Rio 180, with an Arcadia "original Tropical" tube & a Triton Tube.

I am thinking about adding an extra light to the rear flap, but just wondering what tube to go for in that one? Would the Arcadia Freshwater be good?

Or should i upgrade the whole lot to T6's using bushings? (not that i can afford this option at the moment!)

Also, looking for what to feed the plants with. I have been told Seachem Flourish is good, and also JBL root tabs. Which is better?

All this really depends on what you're planning to do with the tank. If you're only growing easy plants then you probably dont need the extra light (although it can only help even if this isn't a fully planted tank, just save you some money that all :)) Whats the wattage of the tubes? The ferts you suggested will be fine for this type of tank too and root tabs will help sword type plants as these are root feeders.

If you're going to go the whole hog with the tank and make it fully planted then the freshwater tubes would be a good addition, the pinned lighting article has a list of good plant tubes. As for ferts, flourish will be ok, but you'll prob need to add others, (i haven't used this type so cant comment on its contents) have you read the pinned EI article?

Hope this helps

Sam
