When we go out of town, should we leave the fish light on or off? We dont have an alge problem, there are live plants in the tank. Sometimes we leave town for 4 days at a time.

You definitely shouldn't be leaving lights on 24/7 - your fish will never get any sleep! Why not put your lights on a timer? That's what I do. Actually, our local Argos store had a deal on - 7 quid for 4 timers. I was thinking to myself, Who needs 4 timers, other than a fish keeper? (Answers on a postcard please).
