Light Stopped Working!

I need help! My Coralife light stopped working, and they are sending me a replacement. It is a 42 watt ballast.
What can I do so my plants won't suffer in the meantime?
I use this ballast along with another one. It has 20 watts. Could I just leave the 20 watt bulb on longer?

Are you dosing CO2/ferts?

tbh, your plants should be fine until your new light comes so long as you aren't dosing an ungodly amount.

I dose ferts no CO2. This is a low light / low tech setup.

You should be good with just the one tube long enough to take delivery on a new bulb.

Use the 20W but only for the same amount of time you use it at the moment. Plants need no more than 10hours. Anymore promotes algae.
You probably won't have to dose anything during this time. But a dose of macro and micro nutrients now until the new light comes will make sure of no deficiencies. If the tank is planted heavily then you could miss water changes as well.
