Light Questions...

Got two sets of lights that I'm looking to buy, but don't really know which is better?

One of them is here:

I'm leaning towards the first one since the mounting legs are included with it, and it's under the base price of the other one. What should I do?

Nova uses one big reflector

TEK uses individual reflectors


Nova wastes a lot of light

TEK loses a small amount of light


TEK is a lot better.

Just get a hanging kit with the TEK, good thing about hanging kits is that it is easier to light acclimate corals.

I forgot Musho. Sorry, The thing is with the hanging brackets, I don't know if my dad will let me hang them from the ceiling. That would be the only problem, and I already have a canopy, so putting lights in that is really my only option.

the first one also has the benifit of the fan cooling, i know its directed at the transformer and the lighting unit its self but any air movement is good as its gets hot under those lights

good point, T5's can get hot
