Light Penetration On 22 Inch Tank

Hi, will a 22 inch tall tank be too tall for T8's and two T5 PCs to light it?


Just wondering because in reefs anything over 18 inches = halides and I don't want to buy the tank if I have to buy halides lol.

btw it will be planted if my reef reference threw you off

I think the normal 'rules' for lighting with regards depth are OK down to about 48"

Normal lighting might be fine at 48" but I think you'll need scuba gear to do any pruning
