light i bought for plants

tell me i saw another person here asking about lights.
i went to walmart and bought a 60w plant light bulb in hardware dept. and used a shop light. 2.50 with clamp on it and it seems to shine really good on the whole tank. but will this help my aquarium plants, this is just till i can get the light that i want.. we will see.... i put the plant bulbs in today..

lohuis makes a incandecent light that has a nice blue outer glass cover..??

if its one of those then that might work but you'll need about 12-15 watts per gallon for low light plants.
