Lifespan?

I was wondering what is the expected lifespan for guppies, mollies and platies?

I heard it's around the 2 to 3 year mark

I'm sad to say that my favorite sailfin molly female that I have had for 3 1/2 years is not looking so well tonight - her lifespan would therefore be in the 3 to 4 year range...
