Fish Crazy
Well after doing a bit of reading and what not, It occured to me that its also been a while since I actually tested the water. now really my tank has been running well for quite some time, since I converted t from saltwater to fresh. about 6 months ago. currently things seem to be fine, but I've noticed the algae has been returning more frequently then before, mind you I had no plants till about a week ago. this leads me to believe that its probably about time to change the filter media or do a more agressive or more frequent water change. Its also possible that my oscar, now 5 inches, may need a larger tank soon as his wastefull nature may be also impacting things. either way I need to test the water, but the kit i have is almost a year old.
should I chuck it? or keepit?
