I thought the series was SHALLOW , AND Boring It was terrible uh... , there werent any essay's, Swede's, Panda's , Swedish essay's, swedish astronauts, Swedish Pandas if they want a good show the need these things on mars god golllll

Well I have just watched the entire 2 series in 2 weeks - and it's phenomenal. Absolutely loved it and absolutely gutted it's finished.
To anyone who hasn't seen it: get it and see it!

This has to be one of the best series i have seen on tv in ages, totally kicks Desperate Housewives, Hotel Babylon, Waterloo Road and Doctor Who's bums! Well, i guess they are all really good. But i really loved the style and feel of Life on Mars, so nostaligic, i think it had a really good storyline and i loved the characters as well. Personally, i wasn't disapointed by the ending at all, all good things have to come to an end sooner or later and i think the way that they ended the series was the best way anyone could end such a great series.
Even though i have never lived in the 70's, i felt i really got a really feel of what it was like to be in the police force in the 70's from watching Life on Mars- i think they picked up the mood and feel of living in the 70's really well. And yeah, there were some comments from characters in the series that would seriously offend some people now days, but people were living in a different time back then, a different world, in a way its all quite light hearted, so i don't mind at all. Actually, i found a lot of Life on Mars seriously funny, gotta love Gene Hunts attitude sometimes lol- i love it when they have that scene of Gene Hunt and Sam Tyler and they are both plastercene/playdo models and Gene is kicking Sam in the nuts, i don't know why but it made me laugh so much lol .

I know this because i watched a programe called soccer am, and they were interviewing a few of the cast from "life on mars", and they started talking to him about his love of fish, then they showed his discus tank, then a few days later i saw the exact same tank on here so i knew who it was
